Jay Carney vs. consensus reality
For a long time, Obama said super PACs were bad — a “threat to our democracy,” even. Until this week, when he decided he could benefit from one. So now, with a wave of his hand, he has transformed super PACs from bad to good.
Unfortunately, this ironclad logic is being assailed by that notorious right-wing wackjob… Norah O’Donnell?
“You can throw in a lot of editorials to your question or you can just save them for your piece.”
If you’re the press secretary for a Democrat president and you’re whining that Norah O’Donnell is being mean and unfair, then you’d better brush all those ants off the seat of your pants. Because your ass is made of candy.
Remember: A promise is a promise, until Obama has to break it to get what he wants.
