Documentary on public school choice to be screened Thursday
ATLANTA — You’re invited to the premiere screening of a very important film about Georgia’s public school system.
The Americans for Prosperity (AFP) Foundation, a free-market educational organization, will host a screening of Making the Grade in Georgia: Educational Freedom and Justice for All this week.
“This documentary uncovers the desperate state of Georgia’s school system, with a 65 percent high school graduation rate statewide, and how school choice can provide our children — the future of Georgia — with the best education possible,” AFP Foundation-Georgia director Virginia Galloway said in a statement.
The movie will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5 at the Cobb Galleria Centre. Additional satellite viewings will be held in Albany, southwest Atlanta, Cumming, Ellijay, Jasper and Rome.
